Paul H. Myerchin, Partner

Paul, a Grand Forks native, received his juris doctor from UND School of Law in 1997, and spent his first year in practice as a law clerk for the judges of the South Central Judicial District before joining the firm.  He was made partner in 2002.  Paul is licensed to practice in both ND and MN state courts, the federal court of ND and the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals. 

Paul is a past president of the Big Muddy Bar Association and ND Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.  He has also served on the board of the ND Trial Lawyers Association and is a current board member for HIT, Inc.  Paul recently completed nine years of service on the Pattern Jury Instruction Commission and is presently serving on the Judiciary Standards Committee.

Paul’s practice emphasizes criminal defense, civil litigation and civil mediation.  Paul has several hundred hours of bench and jury trial experience.

Paul and his wife Lori have two daughters and have called Bismarck their home since 1998.  Paul enjoys spending time with his family, hunting and fishing, and volunteering his time to Ducks Unlimited events and projects.
